Ian is a Kinesiologist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who is passionate about helping his clients reach their goals.
Ian completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology and uses his education to take a science-based approach to personal training and rehabilitation. While Ian’s education and training are geared towards clinical exercise, he also comes from an athletic background having played baseball at the varsity and professional levels. He incorporates the skills and training from his experiences as an athlete into his programs.
Ian is open to helping all populations and believes that people will be surprised at what they can accomplish with the right determination, work ethic, and guidance.
Ali Mohajersheikhi
BSc Kinesiology
Ali is a kinesiology graduate from UBC with a passion for providing clients and patients with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve diverse wellness goals. As a heavyweight contact sport athlete, he has first-hand experience overcoming and rehabilitating various physical injuries, giving him the confidence to help his clients recover and return to activity.
Beyond working as a kinesiologist, Ali is deeply involved in wrestling, training with national teams in Canada and Iran. He uses the insights gained from his experiences to help him create treatment plans. With an evidence-based approach, also integrates the latest research, his own experiences, and knowledge from other experts in the field to ensure his clients benefit from the most effective strategies tailored to their unique needs.
Razan Alhalabi
BSc Kinesiology
Razan is a registered kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. She has experience working with athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
She focuses on active rehab, functional movement, and creating personalized programs to help clients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their recovery. Razan uses evidence-based methods and pays close attention to posture and movement. She enjoys working with clients who are motivated to improve.
Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and staying current with the latest research in functional training, weightlifting, and injury prevention.
