Physiotherapy Services
Is a referral needed for physiotherapy?

No

Some Extended Health Plans require a referral before providing coverage if you are going to be claiming reimbursement. Please check your plan for specific details.

How long will my appointment take?

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit to fill out a New Patient Form if you have not had the opportunity to do so online.
Appointment times can vary and will be determined by your physiotherapist.  You will spending 30 minutes one on one but be in the clinic up to 45 mins for modalities, exercises, etc. If you need to keep your appointment time to a certain length, please let your therapist know when the appointment starts.

What are my payment options?

We accept Debit, Visa and Mastercard only at this time, we are no longer accepting cash or check.  Our new billing system also allows for payments online through our online portal. We do require payment in full at the time of each visit

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
  • Doctors referral (if you have one)
  • Any scans or testing results you have
  • PHN (Personal Health Number) number
  • Shorts- If you are being treated for a back, hip, knee, ankle or foot problem
  • Shoes/orthotics- If you have a lower extremity injury related to a sport it may be helpful for you to bring whatever shoes (including orthotics) you use to participate in that sport.
  • Tank top for upper extremity issues (Please do NOT wear T-back tops/bra tops for IMS treatments)
  • WCB Patients- Claim #, Carecard, case manager’s name and phone number
  • ICBC Patients- Claim #, Carecard, case manager’s name and phone number
Can I cancel an appointment?

We ask for 24 business hours notice for cancellations. Your appointment time has been reserved for you. Please note that the FULL PRIVATE  fee applies for missed appointments. If your appointment falls on a Monday, we do require notice by 2:00pm on the Saturday prior. If your appointment falls on a Monday and we are closed over the long weekend, we do require notice by 5:00 pm the previous business day.

Where is the clinic located?

We are on the second floor (at the back of the gym) of the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre Facility. You can check in with the pool admission staff, walk up the stairs to the gym and look straight ahead, you’ll see the clinic at the back. There is also elevator access next to the family change room for the pool.

What about parking and access?

There is FREE underground parking available for the entire West Vancouver Aquatic Centre/ Community Centre. Entrances are off Gordon Ave. OR off 21st Street (between Marine and Gordon).

There is also a FREE above ground lot ajacent to the Ice Arena and behind the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre/ Community Centre off Gordon Ave., as well as street parking in the area.
