INJURY PREVENTING RUNNING TIPS!!

A few years ago, my husband ran 12 marathons in 12 months to raise funds for the Cancer society and honour our friends and family who we have lost to cancer and those who continue to battle the disease. Running for a cause kept him very motivated but keeping injury free was a challenge. Injury prevention became a high priority for me as his personal, in house, on call 24 hour Physiotherapist.

 

For any runner – no matter if you run long or short distances, run daily or just in the weekends – it is key to do it wisely so you prevent injuries.
For runners who compete. it’s important to arrive at the start line healthy, injury free and ready to face the challenge. Whatever your level or intention is, it is time to put theory into practice, so I invite you to join in the journey with tips for Injury prevention along the way!
