We now have 2 great ways for you to receive hydrotherapy! Judy, who is a Certified Master Trainer, and Andre who is a registered phsyiotherapist. Treatments provided by a physiotherapist may be reimbursed through most extended medical benefits.

Andre has attained his certification in Advanced International Aqua Therapy techniques from South Africa and has experience with treatment of various Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions with water-based therapy. Gold medalist at University level and attended several workshops in the field of Physiotherapy.

Judy is a Certified Master Trainer for WaterART Fitness International and is an educator, speaker and instructor of Aquatics. Her  knowledge and upbeat personality, keep her participants smiling and motivated to have a successful class and work at their own personal best.

She also specializes in Parkinson’s and Stroke Recovery, Balance and Mobility and Barre in her land classes

Judy received her FallProof Balance & Mobility Specialist training from California State University in 2010 and has been a Surefeet.ca co-owner, trainer and educator since that time. Instructing the Surefeet Instructor BCRPA accredited course

She is a Certified PWR!Moves Instructor and has just completed teaching a 9 month Parkinsons’ specific research study program which is part of a project supported by Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute Innovation and Translational Research Award funded by VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation.

Knowledge gained from Judy’s Urban Poling Certification enhances specific rehabilitation training programs she designs for people with Parkinson’s, Stroke survivors, Multiple Sclerosis and other disabling diseases/conditions. She is an Aquatic Rehabilitation Specialist and has been working in the water with clients since 2007.

Due to her genuine compassion and extensive disease/disability knowledge as it relates to rehabilitation/movement, Judy was selected as a Program Co-ordinator by the Vancouver Brain Injury Association to head up their Brain Gain program.

She has been an educator and presenter for BCfit 17, 18 and 19 and also for BCRPA’s 2019 Ripple Effects Conference.

In all aspects of her life Judy strives to positively affect the lives of those she encounters.
